Seniority matters.......
So I find that my dearest 1st born child who's just 5 years old has suddenly started to send his brother on errands *covers face*. The 'poor submissive' younger brother is only three and doesn't seem to mind running these errands. The errands include getting him water, fetching toys, etc and he says please (sometimes). Now I'm wondering do I wade into this matter or just leave them both? After all I send my younger siblings around even till now LOL. I wont want to undermine my no 1's authority as senior is the reason why I haven't exactly told him to please stop harassing my baby....
Advice needed abeg LOL
I'm on a 9 day detox diet... it's only half of day one and im already feeling you know....... hungry. I just must keep up with this weight loss abeg, this constant spilling out of clothes don do....
I had my nails done over the weekend, painted them electric blue ;)yours truly is on fire, next week na green I go paint :D
random thoughts as usual. make I go work small brb

LOL! I wonder how young childen pick up 'adult' behaviour(s).. I believe that you should watch it closely and intervene when it starts to border on 'chancing'.. I remember doing that a lot to my younger sister whom I love to bits! xx
I agree, I send the young man around quite a bit I must admit LOL so I guess he also feels he has a right over the next smaller person in sight! will watch out for any chancing sha :D
This was what I hated most while growing up. I'm the last and have 5 elder siblings. Everybody just thinks they have a right to send you on errands :( :( :( you "senior" ones should leave us alone o!
LOL I better review this my policy on " the seniors have a right to send the juniors"
This is kinda funny. I can totally identify with this as my older boy (4+) does it sometimes but not as much as the younger one (2+) who often 'chances' his elder brother. Kids these days...
I don't think you should be bothered cos it is all just part of growing up and children will learn from what they see. My 5 year old also sends her brother, but she also does stuff for him so.I bet they don't see it as errands.
hahahahahha!!! congratulations, you children are coming of age! They should be allowed to vote now!
heheheheh..leave them be until they need you to mediate.
Fire Girl FluffyCuteThing!!!
LOL@ Abiola! your 1st child must be really gentle, I bet my dearest no1 wouldn't run any such errands LOL. he'd find a way not to!!!!
Okeoghene- i'm taking your word for it!!!
HoneyDame- I will keep trying to look the other way LOL
lol, older kids normally boss the younger ones around. Its normal, but if it gets to much, you can teach him how not to over do it.
ps: will soon do a post on how to organize ones bags and shoes, hope you can stop by soon :)
As egbon "concine", abeg it is our "egbonly" right to send aburos on errand ....lol....my brothers still complain till today about this ish..
