i was going to blog about my inlaws today but its my husband's birthday so i decided otherwise....

I wish i could blog down all my thoughts immediately they come to me, it'll save me trying to remember what it was i wanted to blog about LOL

I wonder why we Yoruba people  say 'come and join me' when eating??!!! I've somehow started doing it too even though i don't understand why and don't really want whoever to join me in my meal anyway...

The boys are fine, driving me nuts as usual :D. Now they demand for songs as soon as we get in the car and because they don't know the titles the way they describe it is absolutely ridiculous... Like Ayobami would say 'mummy play "aha" for me and i know he means MI's "beef" or something like that... or he says play "hohohohoho" and it's the no 6 song on MI's CD LOL

In a bid to really shed weight  i am currently sipping some green tea.... i am not enjoying the process but the thought of becoming and remaining a size 18 is even less appealing. My main challenge is reducing portions and cutting out dinner for now.... God help me abeg

My place of work is still full of perplexing moments and i really pray my circumstances change soonest... I went to speak with the Operations manager about getting a seat( i currently share my table with 3 other personnel) and he says really getting a seat for me is a 3 month project.... Ah ah

I'll stop here for now, dont want my green tea getting cold ;)

Hi Fluffy..Long time..
Anyway..Cutting out dinner would not be th best.
however you are on the ball with portion control.

You should be eating 6 small meals a day instead of 3. Lunch should be your heaviest meal. wile dinner should be your lightest.

if you start skipping meals your body will go into starvation mode where it will store everything you touch as fat.

Dont want to fill your comments with health stuff but pls take a moment to google what I'm talking about...it treally works...
Happ Birthday to the HUBS!!!

I think Mikki's advice is good. I believe in little portions too, and exercise, as a weight loss technique.

Why is it hard to find you your own desk? do you work in the New York stock exchange?

Happy birthday in arrears to your hubby, dear. You kids sound like loads of fun, lol...

On the weight loss, I hope it goes well, cutting portions is great, it will also help to remove most of the starch.

My sister drank green tea for the longest time and I honestly didn't see how it worked.

Maybe she was doing other stuff wrong?

Aloted seems to have a solution tho. Let's know if it works!

Happy birthday to your hubby in arrears ooo!

I also don't like 'come and eat' comment....just lip service. If i have extra, i would stand up to serve, if not, i jeje chop my food, while i entertain with drinks or groundnut.

good luck in your weight lost..me, i had given up many years ago, and simply moderate my eating so as not to add more...me,i am size 22!

Was just talking about this 'come and join me ' issue with my sister- sometimes I know it's expected but I really don't want to say it cos I really don't mean it. And my sister says a compromise is to say ' I dey eat o', which is what they do in her office. WTH!
